Outspoken Filmmaker Uwe Boll Challenges ‘Chicken, Coward’ Alex Jones to Boxing Match
Despite retiring from filmmaking in 2016, “BloodRayne” director Uwe Boll has managed to keep quite busy. First, he revealed that he briefly stayed in Jennifer Lawrence’s childhood home, where he read her diaries in her one-time bedroom. Just before this year’s Oscars, he accused “Phantom Thread” filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson of ripping off the poster for his “BloodRayne” after Boll publicly criticized Anderson’s Best Picture nominee. Not yet satiated with legal brouhaha, Boll recently threatened to sue Warner Bros. for “using his brand” and “helping the military industrial complex” by making the upcoming Dwayne Johnson-starring “Rampage,” an adaptation of the video game of the same name.
And it doesn’t end there. Boll has now taken to Twitter to publicly challenge InfoWars founder and professional conspiracy theorist Alex Jones to a “boxing match, if he can accept my challenge.”
Boll’s affection for boxing willing participants in public venues is one of his most cherished pastimes. As the AV Club notes, “while nothing is likely to top the 2006 Raging Boll event in which Boll graciously invited critics of his oeuvre to defend their opinions through the time-tested academic tradition of a boxing tournament sponsored by an online casino, his latest attempt to assert dominance over a world fast forgetting his name has a truly worthwhile target—the one opponent who’s guaranteed to make the director of this scene look downright heroic in comparison.”
Boll appears to have been mostly inspired by Jones’ shilling of a “Super Male Vitality” supplement, prompting the former filmmaker to open his challenge with “Male Vitality my ass,” before launching into his official ask of Jones to step up for a boxing match.

Boll has continued to tweet about Jones and his challenge, and many of his comments center on “chicken…pure coward” Jones who has yet to respond to Boll’s ask on Twitter or otherwise.
As of this writing, Jones has not dignified the challenge with any sort of public statement or answer. Boll noted in a fresh tweet, “I think it is obvious now to the public Alex Jones talks game but when confronted, it is all bullshit. This challenge is a great example.” Later, Boll tweeted that he thinks Jones is likely “rolled up in his bedroom sweating and crying like a baby,” and thus not responding to his tweets.
